The Temporary Skill Shortage (TSS) visa (subclass 482) has been implemented last 18 March 2018 as a replacement for the 457 Visa. This visa has 2 streams: the short-term stream with a maximum employment of 2 years and the medium-term stream with a maximum employment of 4 years. Eligibility Criteria
- Nomination occupation must be included in the occupation list
- Visa applicant must have at least two years of relevant work experience
- Mandatory labour market testing
- Market rate minimum salary must not be less than the Temporary Skilled Migration Income Threshold (TSMIT) which is currently at $53,900
- Contribution to the Skilling Australian Funds
- Mandatory criminal history checks
- A non-discriminatory workforce test

Dear I am currently employed in South Australia as minister of religion visa Subclass 408. Under current visa I have only visa condition 8107 and 8303 which does not restrict me to apply to stay longer in Australia. My visa expire on 16/4/2020 and I would like to apply to stay longer. I am also supported by my employer and they are happy to extend my contract.
