Tip #1
There are 2 pathways:
The basic difference between the two is that with the contributory parent visa has a 2 year + processing time and a payment of approximately $40,000 AUD per parent.
The long-term parent visa is about 15 years processing time.
Tip #2
Ensure that the majority of your children are in Australia. You are required to have at least more than 50% of your children living in Australia as permanent residents or citizens to qualify for the parent visa.




Tip #3
If you have opted for the long term parent visa, try to apply for the visa as early as possible as there is a 15-year waiting period.
