AUSTRALIAN GOVERNMENT BODIES

Employee Sponsorship

Australian Government Bodies | Employee Sponsorship

1. Eligibility | Find out if employee is eligible for a work visa

Check if your prospective employee is eligible to be sponsored and find out what all their visa options are, including estimated timing and critical requirements. This includes assessing the employee’s occupation according to the correct ANZSCO code and job title.

2. Consultation | Check that all critical requirements can be met

We will educate you about the critical application requirements and breakdown of costs. This is for all relevant stages to ensure sponsorship and/or nomination obligations can be met.

3. Documents | Review documents for legal compliance

Professional guidance will be provided to your HR Team and prospective employee to advise on all required evidence to support the application/s and ensure legal compliance with the most recent legislation for the relevant visa subclass.

4. HR Team | Liaison with your HR team

Step-by-step liaison from start to finish for all matters in relation to the case will be provided. This includes assistance with training requirements, labour market testing compliance, market rate salary determination, and occupation alignment to the vacant position.

5. Employee | Liaison with your prospective employee

Direct liaison with the applicant will also be provided to obtain all documents needed for the case. This includes information such as document of identification, qualifications, work references and information pertaining to an applicant’s medical and criminal history.

6. Legal Compliance | Pre-lodgement due diligence + risk management

All applications will go through an internal pre-lodgement review to find any red flags in the case. This process is designed to identify any gaps in information or requirements prior to lodgement to mitigate any risks of refusal.

7. Lodge | Easy online lodgement

We take care of all lodgement procedures via our direct Immigration online account through our Migration Agent Portal. This includes document management and government liaison to ensure the application is lodged without any technical issues.

8. Legal Representation | Legally represented case with Immigration

We will legally represent the case and advise you on the progress of the application, including any further requests from Immigration. All communication between the government and your organisation will be managed by our team.

9. Decision | Decision liaison with Immigration

Once Immigration reaches a decision on the case, we will advise you of the outcome, check the validity of the decision and any conditions applicable to the decision.

10. Ready To Work | Your sponsored employee can start work

Once your application is approved, your employee can start work (or continue to work if they previous held a work visa).

Here in VisaOne, we liaise with the sponsor’s HR team, the prospective employee and the Department of Home Affairs as part of our case management services.

There are 3 types of employer sponsorship visas that can be applied for:

3. 187 Visa: For regional area workers, this is a permanent residency visa for employer sponsored workers. This visa subclass has two streams: a direct entry stream and temporary transition stream.

quote
Right from the start the services provided by VisaOne have been professional and timely, with a high level of consultation between their management team and me. I was so impressed with the level of professionalism that I found myself referring VisaOne specifically to friends needing help in beginning their PR journey after University.
