I have applied for my 186 Visa as Direct Entry , but I do have 457 Visa till Dec 2018 , what I did , I got Vetassess and applied on my Experience under Hairdresser .
I do have Bupa as a condition to have private health cover under 457 and now after apply for I86 ,I got Medicare .
Should i now be able to discontinue Bupa . I’m confused ,Please help !

Hi, I am on a 457 visa and hoping to transition to PR as soon as possible. I will only have completed 2 years with my employer in Aug 2018, ie I will not have 2 years in this role by March 2018. I have also heard that existing 457 visa holders are exempt the changes, so I am confused to weather I will be able to apply through for PR once in Aug next year. There is an other way to get PR instead of 6 band ielts that the holding 457 person have to have enough 5 years studying at any University with using English lecture. Is that right?
