ENSURING YOUR JOB IS LOCATED IN A REGIONAL AREA
In order to be eligible for sponsorship under the 187 RSMS visa, your employer must offer you a job that is located in a regional area.
You can check this by asking your employer for the postcode of where you will be working and check if that postcode is considered a regional area for the 187 RSMS visa.

UNDERSTANDING REGIONAL SPONSORSHIP IS TWO STREAMS
Be sure to double check your eligibility for which stream you are applying for as there are two streams under 187 RSMS visa.
There is the Direct Entry stream and there is the Temporary Residence Transitional stream.
Tip #3
PLAN YOUR LIVING ARRANGEMENTS PROPERLY
Be aware that you will be required to live and work in a regional area for at least 2 years from when the visa is granted.
Thus, make sure you properly plan your living arrangements in the regional area you will be working for at least a few years (taking into account the processing time).
